Shade is preferred In areas of hot afternoon
sun.  A mulch around the plants will help this
plant keep its roots in cool soil.  Does not do
well in very dry or wet soils.

Campanula c.'Pearl Deep Blue'  is
more heat tolerant that others and
usually blooms a few weeks earlier
from late spring to late summer if
deadheaded.  It produces a profusion
of 2" upward facing violet flowers on
nice compact mounds of dark green
foliage.  Good choice for the front of
borders, containers or growing among
rocks.
