Canna    

Cannas are known for being dependable and bringing that Tropical
look to your garden.  They are easy to grow and grow well almost
anywhere.  They prefer plenty of heat and water.  In zones 7-10
where the ground doesn't freeze below four to six inches cannas
can be left in the ground all winter.  Other areas dig up in late fall or
after the first frost.  Store in a cool area (50 - 60 degrees) and keep
slightly damp to prevent them from drying out.  
Growing & Maintenance Tips

Plant in full sun in any well drained soil.
Loose, fertile soil is best.  They can
tolerate a wide range of growing
conditions but should be watered
thoroughly at least once a week.
