 'Lucifer' is regarded as one of the hardiest
cultivars and grows quickly and will
overcrowd itself.  We have had it in the
garden for 2 years and hasn't spread much;
year 3 ???

Crocosmia foliage is sword-like and makes a
great accent plant when not blooming.
