Sandy soils and part shade are ideal though they do quite well in any well drained soil. They prefer cool nights and are difficult to transplant due to their long tap root. Winter mulch is recommend in Z-5 |

| Incarvillea delavayi is the most popular and hardiest of the Incarvillea genus. They create a spectacular display of 3" long pink flowers with a deep yellow throat. Blooms for many weeks if kept deadheaded. The foliage arches out looking much like holly fern. A beautiful tropical accent plant. |
