 Must have excellent drainage!  Grow this
plant in gravel or between rocks with little
soil, not your average garden soil.  Does like
regular watering when blooming.

Lewisia l. 'Little Plum' is perfect plant for those
gravel areas or heavy rock areas or even in the
cracks of a stone wall.  Beautiful soft-pink
flowers smother the tight rosettes of evergreen
leaves.  New blooms maybe flushed with
salmon-orange.  Blooms from late spring to
early summer.  This variety is prized for it
compact habit and prolific blooming.
