Liriope s. or Lily-turf  is a unique evergreen groundcover with dark green
grass like foliage.  Delightful, pale lavender flowers appear on slender
stalks in midsummer.  Spreads by underground stolons, and under ideal
conditions quickly forms a thick carpet useful for erosion control and as a
groundcover.

looking discolored from winter.  A new flush of growth
will quickly appear.
