I, Dee the owner of Dee’s Gardens have many times been disappointed with mail order plants. You pay a lot of money
for a small little plant. We primarily focus on our garden center but decided to offer our excess inventory plants to our
neighboring zones customers so they could have the opportunity to get large quality plants at a reasonable price. We
therefore offer a limited quantity for a limited time through mail order. We mostly offer Grade #1 bare root plants and
ship them while they are dormant. Most of our Grade #1 plants are a year or older. This means you will get larger older
plants, not seedlings or plugs. They usually require a 1 or 2 gallon pot because there are so many large healthy roots.

website but do not offer them all through mail order. Our website is used by local customers and for information. You
can view a list of what we sell on the order form (below). It changes each season.
- 1. We only ship plants during February, March, and November. If this does not work for the zone you live
in, we ask that you don’t order from us. On occasion we run special sales that ship on specific dates.If you are
wanting 20-25 of a particular plant we may be able to ship at a time according to your zone. Please contact us
first. For any orders of 25 plants or more please contact us for special discounts up to 45%. Seeds ship year
around.

3. We ask that you fill out our order form and we will email you an invoice. You can pay using Pay Pal, money
order or personal check. Personal checks must be received 20 business days prior to shipping. There is a
$35.00 NSF charge for any returned checks. Be sure and check the box how you would like to pay on order form.
- 4. Once payment is received you will receive a confirmation of your order and the shipping date(s).
- 5. We ship most items Priority Mail and try to use the Flat Rate Box which usually can hold 3-5 plants. We do
not try and profit from shipping charges. We will refund any excessive shipping charges paid if we over charged
you. Some plants, such as Russian Sage many times will not fit in a Flat Rate Box because they are so large.
6. Your plants will most likely arrive dormant and not have any foliage. The tops will be trimmed, and they may
even look like they are dead. Be assured that they are not and when the warm Spring weather arrives you will
have a very nice size plant in no time. You probably would pay 2-3 times as much for a plant this old and size at
your local nursery.
7. We want you to be happy if not very impressed with your order and strive on customer service.
